At Lauderdale Yacht Club we feel privileged to call the amazing Fredrick Henry Bay our home. The bay offers moderate breeze most mornings, just perfect for less experienced or junior sailors while during the afternoons the sea breeze from the south east provides perfect conditions for racing our bigger boats, like Paper Tigers, A Class catamarans and Formula 18 catamarans.
LYC is the premier off-the-beach catamaran club in Tasmania, but we also have a fleet of Bic O'pen Skiffs that are a perfect, modern platform for young sailors to develop the sharp boat handling skills they can later draw on to handle any role on any boat.
